What's Happening at King's Market
Our weather has been beautiful here and the Purple Martins have hatched, and their parents are busy trying to keep them fed..  It's so nice to have them back singing to us every morning when we get to work.  It seems that everyday something new is coming out of the fields.  we are picking almost everything.  The tomatoes are finally ready, perfect for that BLT sandwich.  We have all kinds of watermelons, Red, Seedless, Yellow, and Sorbet Swirl (tangerine color).

 From the Kitchen

Maria has been busy in the kitchen coming up with a new Peach Crumble.  The reviews have been great.  We are picking our blackberries, so of course, we also have fresh Blackberry Cobbler.  Our new popsicle flavors are Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Kiwi Lime, and coming soon Blackberry.

From the Garden
Michelle has been busy trying to get Perennials and Hanging Baskets that will take our Lowcountry summers.  She has some Portulaca Hanging Baskets and new Sedum plants that are great for our hot summer days.  We have Double Knock Out Roses in 1 and 5 gallons.  Also, a frost free Gardenia in 1 gal.  In the tree department, we have some Red Bud, Little Gem Magnolias and some Japanese Maples.  The Garden area is beautiful, so come and check it out.
